Memo (Mandatory Instructional Materials Completion)

TO : Training Director

Mandatory Instructional Material Completion

At the behest of Course Development and with the cooperation of Administration and Corporate Affairs, I would like to ask you to inform the concerned instructors listed below of the need to help complete the assigned and as of yet unfinished instructional materials review and finalization.

Course Development Team has explained some of the hurdles that have plagued this project including personnel and scheduling deficiencies. We discussed and have agreed on the following:

• All content editing / technical editing will be done simultaneously and will involve the technical writer and all instructors who teach the particular course under review.

• Any instructor who cannot for valid reason attend the editing session will not be included in the routing of materials prior to finalizing and may be subject to written notice or to explain in writing why they were unable to attend mandatory editing sessions.

We have scheduled the first of the instructional material completion efforts this Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. We ask that you inform Capt. Socorro and Chief Engineer Rodrigo that their presence will be expected for the alignment, completion and finalization of materials for Remotely Operated Vehicle Course and Offshore Emergency Response Course.

Attendance will be monitored by Administration and absences will be reported to your office with courtesy copy furnished to me. Please explain to all the instructors as we will eventually be asking all of them to give up a few Saturdays as well as to report directly to Administration on Fridays wherein they are not assigned teaching duties that we are in the home stretch and need them to finally complete this endeavor. Please also be informed that after consultation with all departments concerned I will be releasing weekly advanced memos regarding Saturday assignments. Thank you for your help and support.

For your guidance,

Snappy Sparrow
